CO2 vs Temperature

I keep running into people who claim they've never seen any "proof" of a correlation between CO2 and temperature.

I don't know if this is "proof", but it sure is strong circumstantial evidence:

Apart from a blip during WWII (who knows WHAT we were throwing into the air at that point?) it's a pretty close match...
