This blog will be primarily about the future, and what social and technological changes it will take to get there.
Since that is far too general, and would lead to far ranging discussions about absolute impossibilities, I would like to focus on from present to 2100 – far enough ahead to be interesting, not so far as to allow time for every wild science fiction idea to be valid.
(It also has the advantage that not may of us are likely to live long enough to find out how wrong we were!)
I’ve set up several preliminary Categories, hoping to illustrate present problems, and possible present/future solutions for each.
I’m hoping to have essays/comments from all of you who join. It’ll get pretty boring if it’s just my thoughts.
